Back to School Beauty

Back to School Beauty

Hello beauties!

Classes are officially back in session here at LSU and it's my last year before starting life in the real world! I still can't believe it.

With the new school year arrival, I wanted to bring even more new and exciting content. Sooo, I'm bringing beauty! I know I always talk clothes, deals and fashion but now we're adding beauty into the equation.

Today, I made a quick (not so quick if you ask my boyfriend, Barry) stop at Sephora and got a few items.

The Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion is an every day must-have for me. I have not discovered one single eye shadow primer that is better or more reliable than this one.

This Sephora Highlight Lowlight Face Contour Duo was a new find however. But its creamy texture and easy applicator caught my eye. I knew it would blend perfectly with my normal make-up routine.

In addition to discovering that awesomeness stick, my gal pal + Sephora associate, Bella refrred me to Sephora's cream lip stain collection (Praise Bella). I grabbed the Blackberry Sorbet.

Here's how I put it all together:

1. After completing my normal face routine (moisturizing, priming and applying foundation) I went geometric style and highlighted/low lighted (aka contoured) areas of my face.

2. I blended. Then applied a little sparkle under my eyebrows, over my cheek bones and on my nose.

3. I began applying the cream lip stain. I always start in the middle of my bottom lip, pause, line my bottom lip with the lip stain and fill in in completely.

4. Once my bottom lip was finished, I went ahead and lined my upper lip and filled it in.

My look was then complete!

This simple yet romantic look can finish off any plain or patterned outfit. I love bringing out a bold lip with pattern outfits such as this one.

Tell me how you guys feel abut the beauty blogs!
