Laced in Sundays: Affordable eye shadow palettes, SZA + more
1) What to wear: Juvia's Place's Nubian Eyeshadow Palette
Okay, so I'm about two seconds away from buying Juvia's Place's Nubian eyeshadow palette (like, seriously.) My cousin recently wore it to my graduation and her lids were POPPIN. The pigment was gorgeous and so vibrant. Oh! By the way, it's only $25!!
So, you guys know I have to give my readers a heads up if I'm going to buy it myself. (Cause you def should too). I'll probably even review it for you guys!
2) Something for ya' ear: SZA's Ctrl Album
Not that I should even have to remind you guys to listen to this album....BUT for those of you who haven't heard SZA's debut album, Ctrl yet, this is a must-listen!
SZA's been my girl for a while now, but she's been more known in the indie realm. Now, she is making her way to the charts, so jump on the SZA train while ya can! It's only a matter of time before she's the next "it" girl. (She already is in my head at least....her & Abra!)
3) What to read: The Universe Has Your Back
So, this is my book of the moment! My mom actually sent this book to me through the Audible app and I'm so glad she did! I've been listening to this book every moment I get the chance and I would HIGHLY recommend it (along with my many other self-help suggestions).
This book in particular includes so many great personal stories from the author and just overall great examples that help the reader (or listener) relate and digest the information.
Let me know what you guys think!
4) Websites to Browse: Urban Outfitters (Kitchen)
Okay, I know. You're probably like, wtf? Or, if you're like me you're thinking, "yassss, how can I get that mug in my pantry?" Well guys, fun fact: I love mugs. I think they're the greatest. Especially for a tea and coffee lover like myself. I've actually started my own little mug collection I'll have to show you guys eventually!
In addition to this gorgeous female body-inspired mug, Urban Outfitters has great & unique pieces to add to your kitchen. Check them out!
5) Who to follow: @la_madrama
Like most gems I find on Instagram, I usually have no idea how I stumbled across them but when I do, I'm so glad I did!
This New Orleans-based creative is a must-follow. Her Instagram is modern, clean and sooo fun and personal. She's the Instagram bestie of a 20-something, working, stylish girl's dreams!
