Brunch for the Soul is a Baton Rouge-based brunch series for women. Created by journalist and lifestyle blogger Cynthea Corfah, Brunch for the Soul is a bi-monthly brunch and mixer for women to feel important, inspired and supported.

The attendees gathered on a warm Sunday afternoon for Batch 13 bonuts, Brew Haha cake balls, mimosas and other brunch goods. After the feast, guest speaker, Christy Reeves inspired the ladies with stories about her professional journey and encouraged everyone to embrace their inner badass. Finally, the group split into two groups for a class on succulent & cacti potting and networking activities.
Galentine's Day Edition

To celebrate the month of Valentine's Day, the ladies met on the last Saturday afternoon of the month. The brunch included Galentine's themed items like bottomless rosé mimosas and pink chocolate chip waffles. The event consisted of a heart to heart conversation with guest speakers, Power Pump Girls, networking activities like speed dating: girl crush edition and writing each other love notes.

Hot chocolate and yoga. What more can a girl ask for? To wrap up the holiday month, the attendees were taught about the seven chakras in a relaxing, beginner's yoga class taught by guest speaker, Ruth Corfah. Then, the ladies ate a delicious holiday-themed brunch that included hot cocoa, hashbrowns and powdered donut holes. After, attendees participated in fun self-care related networking activities with prizes.

The first brunch was one to remember. Held at Cynthea's downtown Baton Rouge home on a brisk October morning, the guests enjoyed a warm brunch buffet, various mimosa flavors and a motivating talk by guest speaker, Ashely O'Neill. After, the guests participated in fun ice breakers and networking activites.
